BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Uzbekistan has exported 18,500 tons of apples worth $7.3 million to seven countries from January through October 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure increased by 9,400 tons compared to the same period last year.
During this period, Uzbekistan sent largest volume of apples to Kazakhstan (12,600 tons), followed by Russia (4,200 tons), Kyrgyzstan (1,500 tons) and Turkmenistan (163 tons).
Among the regions of Uzbekistan, the largest volume of apples was exported from the Fergana region, which sent 5,000 tons of apples abroad, followed by the Khorezm region – 4,500 tons, and the Tashkent region – 1,800 tons.
