BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. Construction work worth 25.5 billion Uzbek soums ($2.2 million) was carried out in Uzbekistan's Tashkent from January through October 2022, Trend reports citing Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the statistics, the growth rate of construction work in the Uzbek capital in the reporting period jumped by 104 percent, compared to the last 11 months of 2021.
Some 57.1 percent of the work done by construction organizations in Tashkent came from the contribution of small businesses and micro firms.
Furthermore, the total volume of construction work performed by large companies accounted for 35.4 percent, while by individual entrepreneurs - 7.5 percent.
