The Israeli military said Thursday it killed two Palestinian militants in the northern Gaza Strip, DPA reported.
It said it used a warplane and tanks to fire at a group of armed militants spotted near the border fence with Israel overnight.
Israeli soldiers combed the area in the morning and found the bodies of two uniformed Islamic Jihad militants, armed with assault rifles and an explosive device.
