BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. Demolition and excavation work will begin in the villages of Hadrut and Tugh of Azerbaijan's Khojavend district in the near future, said Bashir Hajiyev, Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the territories of Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha district) liberated from Armenian occupation, Trend reports.

He made the remark during a panel discussion going within the Caspian Construction Week.

"At the next stage, road and communication work will be carried out, and then the construction of houses and non-residential buildings will be carried out," Hajiyev said.

In accordance with the concept of tourism development in Hadrut settlement, first of all, it is planned to restore and improve the central quarter in the historical part of the settlement.

Within the framework of restoration and conservation work in the historical part of Hadrut, first of all, restoration of the temple, which belongs to the historical and cultural heritage of Caucasian Albania, three buildings located next to it, and improvement of this territory are envisaged. Restoration and conservation work in this part will be the first experience for the future restoration of historical buildings in Hadrut, on the basis of which the rest of the work will be carried out.

At the same time, Tugh has a very good tourism potential. When preparing the tourism concept of Tugh village, three main directions have been chosen. The first of these directions is the development of cultural tourism with the preservation of the historical architectural style of the village, the second is the development of ecotourism using the rich nature of Tugh, and as the third direction, the potential of agrotourism, which Tugh village is known to have.
