Russia, Moscow, 21 February /corr. Trend R.Agayev / Russian media, holding Azerros, intends to appeal to the Foreign Ministry and Central Election Commission of Armenia with a requirement to make clear the reasons of not allowing the correspondents of the Holding to observe the presidential elections in Armenia.
The journalists of Azerros, Vagif Adgozalov and Mariam Akhundova did not receive accreditation from Yerevan to report on the presidential elections, and therefore, the Media Holding intends to make a complaint, a source in Holding reported to Trend on 21 February.
"Despite that all the documents necessary for accreditation had been sent to Yerevan on time and active chief of Armenian Foreign Minister's Department for Work with Media stated that it does not need to worry, we have not received any response," Adgozalov told Trend.
Adgozalov said that in addition, together with his colleague Mariam Akhundova, they made an appeal to the Central Election Commission of Armenia, but there was no reaction. The only reason that we could not observe the presidential elections in Armenia may be our Azerbaijani nationality, Adgozalov said.
The journalists of Holding stated that they will absolutely make clear this issue. "We will write in our newspaper, why we could not observe the elections in Armenia as the Russian media" the correspondent said.
