Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 May / Trend corr R. Ergun/ Baku's Neftchi Football Club, which is participating in the Azerbaijani Football Premier League, will take full advantage of the mistakes made by the Azerbaijani Olympic Club. "We should not be surprised that Olympic lost scores during their recent games. That is football, any team could lose points. But we should not relax, we could win the next tournament," Anatoliy Demyanenko, chief coach of Neftchi, said to Trend on 5 May.
Demyanenko took on the position as chief coach of Neftchi this winter. Previously, he was chief coach for Ukrainian Dynamo. Prior to that, Neftchi was led by Czech coach Vlastimil Petrzhela.
Demyanenko said that as soon as the Premier League matches are over, Neftchi will take serious measures to improve its game. "There are several positions within our team that require to be restructured. Some players may join the team and others may leave it," he said.
Romal Huseynov, a Neftchi football player, is likely to amongst those who leave the team. He is expected to return to his previous club, Baki.
Neftchi Football Club takes the second place in the Premier League behind Olympic who are leading by three points.
During the remaining three Premier League matches, Neftchi will play against Khazar-Lanakaran, Garabag and ABN.
