(lohanworld.com) - I have to hand it to Lindsay Lohan - her acting skills are worse than I ever imagined. In the words of Shaggy, the Rehab Raver has pleaded to cops that It Wasn't Me.
Lohan denied she was taking drugs after her arrest on Tuesday morning in Santa Monica for drink-driving and having cocaine in her possession. And she has even tried to push the blame on to her mates to weasel out of a possible prison term. This is despite cops saying they found a wrap of coke in her pocket and her publicist sending her back to rehab with a "relapse".I'm afraid no amount of cheesy acting is going to get her out of this tight spot.
Lohan is already facing a drink-driving charge after running away from a car crash in Beverly Hills two months ago. So if Paris Hilton was sent down for driving her car while banned, then surely Li-Lo will be the next celeb in a cell.
In an email to US entertainment show Access Hollywood, Lohan wrote: "I am innocent...did not do drugs. They're not mine.
"I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy." Police said they found the actress - who still had on the alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet she chose to wear after going to rehab - arguing with her assistant's mother in a car park.
The woman had earlier called cops saying she was being chased by Lohan in her car. The actress fled across the car park when she saw police arrive but was soon caught and handcuffed.
The assistant had quit her job just a few hours earlier. I don't blame her - keeping up with Li-Lo is too much for anyone to handle. Lohan's full list of offences is going to be difficult to wriggle out of.
She was charged with possession of cocaine and driving under the influence. She has been released on ?12,500 bail and will appear in court again on August 24.
I'm getting fed up of hearing celebrities moaning about being treated unfairly when they behave so recklessly. Lohan was already on a drink-drive charge, so why didn't she jump in a cab? It's not like the millionairess can't afford a driver to take her home.
