The Kazakh companies signed export contracts worth $10 million following the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Business Forum organized by the Kazakh National Agency on Export and Investment KAZNEX INVEST on Oct. 24-25 in Azerbaijan, KAZNEX INVEST reported.
KazAzot's fertilizers, Zhersu Power's accumulators, Alageum's transformers, Control Systems Technology Asia's weighing equipment and other Kazakh companies' products will be exported to Azerbaijan by late 2011.
Azerbaijan also plans to buy the oil and gas equipment from Kazakh Byelkamit.
The Kazakh-Azerbaijani business forum was attended by about 80 companies from both countries, operating in different spheres, including agriculture, food processing, energy, construction, engineering.
