Iran's exports increased by 23 percent in value and 0.5 percent in volume, in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 22 through December 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.
According to him, Iran has exported 9.59 million tons of goods worth $4.04 billion within the mentioned month.
The spokesman also added that Iran exported 1.97 million tons of goods worth $1.12 billion to China, 1.84 million tons worth $649 million to Iraq, 1.01 million tons worth $499 million to the UAE, as well as, 338,000 tons worth $363 million to Turkey and 269,000 tons worth $141 million to Afghanistan in the 9th month.
Latifi noted that Iran's foreign trade turnover for the 9th month of the current Iranian year amounted to about 13.2 million tons worth $8.95 billion, which is an increase of 25 percent in value and 3 percent in volume, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
Iran's exports amounted to 92.3 million tons worth $35.1 billion for the first 9 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2021). The exports increased by 40 percent in value and 8 percent in volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
