Azerbaijan, Baku 12 February / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / In January 2008 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) sold over 14,387 tons of petrol as compared to 13,815 tons in January 2006 in the domestic market, SOCAR said.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported that in January the company sold 26,292 tons of diesel fuel compared to 23,141 tons in 2006. The sale of kerosene in January made up 3,507 tons compared to 2,485 tons in January 2006, SOCAR said. Meanwhile, 2,231 tons of mazut was sold in the domestic market as compared to 4,843 tons in 2006.
