By the beginning of the autumn-winter season, SOCAR (SOCAR) plans to complete the construction of a new pipeline for providing the Pirguli settlement of the Azerbaijani Shamakhi region with gas, said SOCAR today. The operations are carried out under the state program of socio-economic development of the Azerbaijani regions for 2009-2013 year.
The construction works were launched in late March and the pipeline is constructed from plastic pipes. About two kilometers of pipeline has already been built. The total length of new pipeline will be 15 kilometers.
In the future, villages near the Pirguli village, thanks to a new gas pipeline will receive natural gas.
