The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) exported more than 1.52 million tons of oil from January to July 2013 from the port of Supsa compared to nearly 1.61 million tons of oil in the same period of 2012, a statement released by SOCAR on Friday said.
According to the report, some 157.7 thousand tons of oil were exported from Supsa in July, compared to 315.32 thousand tons in the same period of the last year.
SOCAR exported 2.74 million tons of oil from Supsa in 2012, compared to 2.65 million tons of oil in 2011. The oil is delivered to Supsa through the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline. The operator of Baku-Supsa pipeline is the Azerbaijan International Operational Company (AIOC).
