Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 May / Trend corr S. Babayeva/ The first meeting of the Human Resources Charitable Foundation for ICT development, which was established at the end of 2006, may take place at the end of May or the beginning of June, Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry reported on 7 May.
The meeting will elect the administration and will draw the working plan on assistance to the local communication and IT human resources to get education abroad.
Establishment of the Foundation as an NGO was initiated by the Communication and IT Ministry and IT companies.
The Foundation includes over 15 IT companies - AZEL, Sinam, Ultra, Catel, Azercell, Bakcell, Azerfon, Microsoft, etc. The number of the Foundation's members may increase in the future.
At present, about 30 people are receiving education in Ukraine, USA and Korea through the Azerbaijani Communications Ministry. Students will receive education with the Foundation's funds coming from the private companies and Communication Ministry.
