Information and telecommunications training held as a part of the Information Technology Academy project started in Zagatala and Balakan on June 29. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of administrative bodies, educations departments and by youth without computer skills who will attend the training.
The project is implemented by Ireli public association in an effort to enhance computer skills of youth. The training is also supported by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.
The project which covers all regions will be realized stage-by-stage. The training has already been held in Ganja, Gazakh, Agstafa, Shamkir and Tovuz.
Total of 188 of the 270 participants in Ganja, 106 of 135 participants in Gazakh, 86 of 134 in Agstafa, 102 of 130 in Shamkir and 88 of 135 participants in Tovuz have obtained certificates.
The project will involve 50,000 people by end of the year by IT training, forming initial skills of teachers, teenagers and youth and creating IT groups.
