Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) completes the full transition to electronic air ticket registration system, Maharram Safarli, the head of the press-service of JSC AZAL told Trend today.
According to him, today more than half of the tickets of AZAL are sold in electronic form, they are available to passengers flying to the country and abroad, except those countries where this system doesn't function. Their number is not so much.
New electronic registration system was introduced in the AZAL representation in the UK.
One of the advantages of electronic tickets is that the registration data about the passenger is stored electronically in the airline's database, which eliminates the loss factor and makes them accessible at any time.
Electronic tickets allow conducting accelerate registration of hand luggage in the airline terminals. Passengers with electronic ticket may also to register via the Internet at any time (not later than two hours before departure).
