Polling stations in the early presidential elections in Kazakhstan were closed in most parts of the country, said on Sunday CEC Deputy Chairman Vladimir Foos, RIA Novosti reported.
"To date, most of the country voting was completed," - said the Foos at the briefing, which began at 20.00 Astana time.
According to him, "in the western regions of the country - Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Mangystau - Voting will last until 21.00 Astana time.

According to Foos, members of district election commissions, at which the vote is completed, proceed to count the votes.
