ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 26. Turkmenistan's Demirbetonunumleri enterprise exceeded the plan by 6.5 percent for the production of precast reinforced concrete products from January through May this year, Trend reports.
According to official data, the company produced over 11,000 precast concrete products, reaching a growth rate of 9.16 percent year-on-year.
Furthermore, the company also produced 255 cubic meters of ready-mixed concrete during this period, and also extracted more than 20,100 cubic meters of river sand and 7,100 cubic meters of clay.
The company is currently building residential buildings in the Lebap region, as well as in the cities of Balkanabad and Bayramali.
Meanwhile, in recent years, Turkmenistan has seen rapid development in the production of building materials, with an emphasis on modern technologies and environmental sustainability of production.
Investments in this sector contribute to expanding the range of products and improving their quality, which stimulates the growth of the construction industry and reduces dependence on imports.
