Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Afghanistan Yodgorhoja Shadmanov presented his credentials to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Jahon News Agency under the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.
According to the agency, during the conversation held following the ceremony of presenting of the credentials, the sides discussed the state and prospects of Uzbek-Afghan relations in the political, trade and economic spheres, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties.
It was stated that there is potential for further deepening and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as its activation in various directions.
President Karzai expressed prosperity and success to the leadership and the people of Uzbekistan.
