TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 22. Electric current trade turnover in Uzbekistan amounted to $111.6 million from January through April 2024, Trend reports.
The data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this figure has increased by 36.1 percent compared to the same period last year ($82 million in January–April 2023).
Uzbekistan’s exports of electric current amounted to $43.8 million from January through April 2024, which is 31.1 percent more year-on-year ($33.4 million in January–April 2023).
The electric current imports reached $67.8 million from January through April 2024, which indicates a 39.5 percent growth compared to the same period last year ($48.6 million in January–April 2023).
Meanwhile, the country's total trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $1.5 billion from January through April 2024. This figure is 50 percent more year-on-year ($1 billion in January–April 2023).
Uzbekistan's exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials reached $275.8 million, and imports totaled $1.3 billion from January through April 2024.
