TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 24. Uzbekistan’s coal, coke, and briquette trade turnover amounted to $85.6 million from January through June 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure is 5.6 percent higher compared to the same period last year ($81 million in January–June 2023).
The exports of coal, coke, and briquettes reached $1 million from January through June 2024.
The country’s imports of coal, coke, and briquettes totaled $84.6 million during this period. The volume of imports shows 4.4 percent growth over the past year ($81 million in January–June 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $2.6 billion from January through June 2024. This figure has increased by 62.5 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.6 billion in January–June 2023).
The volume of exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials from Uzbekistan amounted to $593.8 million, while the imports reached $2.1 billion during this period.
