TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 4. Uzbekistan exported beverages and tobacco worth $127 million from January through November 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this indicator demonstrated a decline of 13.6 percent compared to the corresponding period in the previous year ($111.8 million in January-November 2023).
The export of beverages amounted to $48.9 million from January through November 2024, down 18.2 percent from the previous year ($57.8 million in January–November 2023).
At the same time, the volume of tobacco exports reached $78.1 million during this period. This figure has increased by 44.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year ($54 million in January–November 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's volume of exports and services amounted to $17.5 billion (excluding non-monetary gold) from January through November 2024. This figure has increased by 16.6 percent compared to the same period in 2023 ($15 billion in January–November 2023).
