Palestinian militant was killed and three civilians wounded on Tuesday night in
an Israeli airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza Strip, medics and
witnesses said.
The witnesses said that an Israeli aircraft fired one missile at a Palestinian
militant who was driving a motorcycle in the refugee camp, adding that the
missile directly hit him.
Medics said that the militant was killed and three bystanders wounded, one of
them seriously. The four were taken by Palestinian ambulances to a hospital in
Jabalia area.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces broke into the southern Gaza Strip early on Tuesday
and carried out search and arrest campaign and exchanged fire with Palestinian
militants.
Israeli armored vehicles and bulldozers backed by warplanes stormed into
Al-Garara village near the Kissufim crossing in southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli troops searched into a school and other buildings in Al-Garara and
Wadi Al-Salqa, where Palestinian militants exchanged fire with the invading
troops, witnesses said.
On Monday night, an Israeli aircraft launched a missile at a group of Palestinian
militants linked to the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine's military
wing, killing one and injuring another.
