Real Madrid clinch title with late come-back victory

( dpa ) - Real Madrid scored twice in the last three minutes to score a 2-1 victory away to Osasuna to clinch the Spanish league title on Sunday.

Goals by Arjen Robben and Gonzalo Higuain allowed a ten-man Madrid to come back after Fabio Cannavaro had earlier been sent off and Francisco Punal gave the home side the lead with a penalty seven minutes from the end.

Although there are still three games remaining in the league, Madrid 78 points to give them a 10 point lead over Villarreal and have won their their 31st title.
