An explosive device fell down from a convoy of international troops in Ghazni province south of Afghanistan, killing three local security guards of the convoy and injuring over two dozen others, provincial police chief Khayalbaz Shirzoi said Tuesday, reported Xinhua.
"The incident occurred at 11:00 p.m. Monday when the convoy was passing through Ghazni city, the capital of Ghazni province. Due to carelessness of the troops, a device fell down and exploded, killing three people and injuring 25 others," Shirzoi told Xinhua.
All the victims are Afghans and worked as security guards escorting the convoy, he added.
