BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts average annual inflation in developing Asian countries at 3.2 percent in 2024, while in 2023 inflation stood at 3.3 percent, Trend reports.
According to the bank, the 2025 inflation will be set at three percent.
ADB forecasts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan at 5.5 percent in 2024 and 6.5 percent in 2025.
Trading Economics analysts project average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2024 at the level of five percent.
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy estimates annual inflation of
5.3 percent in 2024, whereas the UN predicts 5.9 percent this
year.
The International Monetary Fund predicts that average annual
inflation in Azerbaijan will decline to 4.7 percent this year,
while the World Bank believes that average annual inflation in
Azerbaijan will amount to 5.8 percent by 2024.
The Dutch ING Group estimates Azerbaijan's average annual inflation
rate to be 4.4 percent this year.
