Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said Thursday Turkey sent a fully equipped ambulance, medical equipment and other assistance materials to Kyrgyzstan following the incidents that took place in Kyrgyzstan between April 6 and 8, Anadolu Agency reported.
During the incidents, 83 people lost lives and more than 500 people were injured. The assistance was sent to Kyrgyzstan on April 19 upon a request made by the interim government of Kyrgyzstan, the Turkish MFA said.
The MFA also said that six Kyrgyz citizens injured during the incidents have been brought to Istanbul for medical treatment.
