Azerbaijan, Baku, April 6 / Trend , S. Agayev/ Azerbaijani embassy in Italy has not received information on injured compatriots during the earthquake in Abruzzo, Azerbaijani ambassador to Italy Emil Karimov said.
The death toll as a result of the earthquake that took place last night in the central Abruzzo province of Italy has reached 31, RIA Novosti quoted SkyTG24 as reporting.
The death toll was originally reported to be 27 which included 5 children, Local Command of Carbiniers said.
Over thirty people are missing.
About 10,000 houses can be in the destruction area, Civilian Defense Service said.
