Canada will host a conference on the Caspian counties' foreign policy.
"Conference on "Role of energy in the Caspian countries' foreign policy" will be held in Toronto. Canada, the United States and Azerbaijan will attend the meeting," the State Committee for Diaspora Affairs told Trend on May 21.
The conference provides for discussion and presentations about the exchange of experience of Azerbaijan in this sphere. "The conference will be opened by the London Economy and Politics University Representative Aslan Amani. After his speech, the representative of the University of Toronto Lujan Wai gave a lecture on "the Beginning of authoritarian stability in the Soviet Union: Azerbaijan as a comparison," the state committee reported.
Another scientist at the University of Toronto, Robert Austin will make a report on "Looking at the prospects of Azerbaijan's foreign policy", a leading adviser to international companies "Stonebridge"- on "the political and commercial realities of energy production in the Caspian Sea: Russia, United States, the Council of Europe and China in search of the original source."
A member of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Canada Farid Shafiev will inform the participants of the conference about the priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy.
