BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Türkiye reduced exports of steel products to Georgia by 11.7 percent to $90.8 million from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Georgia received $13 million less in steel shipments from Türkiye in July 2022 compared to the same month.
When compared to the same time in 2018, Türkiye's steel exports fell by 37.8% and totaled $8.3 billion from January through July 2023.
Türkiye exported steel products of $1.2 billion in July 2023, a decrease of 27.2 percent from July 2022.
Additionally, from July 2022 to July 2023, Türkiye exported steel products valued $16 billion.
