BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. Credit investments in Azerbaijan's agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors reached 575.3 million manat ($338.4 million) as of March 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates that this represents a slight decrease of 0.3 percent, or 1.8 million manat ($1 million), from the previous month but shows a significant increase of 12.1 percent, or 62.2 million manat ($36.5 million), compared to the same period in 2024.
During this period, banks provided 461.1 million manat ($271.2 million) in credit investments, while non-banking institutions contributed 114.2 million manat ($67.1 million).
To note, the total loan portfolio for the real sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 29.4 billion manat ($17.29 billion), reflecting an increase of 77.6 million manat ($45.65 million), or 0.3 percent in monthly terms.
