About 280 small governmental enterprises and facilities, as well as lands, where about 270 facilities located were privatized in Azerbaijan over seven months of 2009, the State Committee on Property Issues said.
About 30 joint-stock companies were privatized in 30 auctions, held for privatization of shares.
The winners of these competitions invested 30 million manat in the enterprise, privatized through investment tenders.
Generally, 430 million manat was invested in 82 enterprises privatized by Aug.1 as a result of investment competitions and more than 12,000 jobs were opened in these enterprises.
