BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. A total of 2,420 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on July 29, Trend reports.
The mentioned goods will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered:
Zarand Iranian Steel Company’s 1,000 tons of tar
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s 500 tons of butane
Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 500 tons of Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE);
Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s 424 tons of solvent and 402 products
Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) stood at approximately 23.9 trillion rials (about $58.3 million) during the last Iranian week (July 15 through July 19, 2023). So, nearly 111,000 tons of hydrocarbon products worth approximately 23.5 trillion rials (about $57.3 million) were sold at the IRENEX in the last week.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold at the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 463,776 rials and the price of $1 is 412,575 rials.
The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
