All-people's discussion of the new redaction of the Constitution will run in Kyrgyzstan, news agency "24.kg" reported.
This decision was taken Saturday on a regular session of a working group developing new variant to the Fundamental law.
Reportedly, deputy head of the interim government of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Tekebaev said that during the process of revision we have considered almost 80 percent of recommendation suggested by the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission). The suggestions concerned also delimitation of authority of the President.
Moreover, the constitution as expected will have an increased number of deputies elected to the parliament of Kyrgyzstan - 105 or 120 positions for lawmakers.
Proposals and remarks to the draft Constitution will be taken from citizens, political parties, and public organization up to 14 May, 2010. After that, a WG will prepare final formulation of the draft Constitution and on 19 May 2010 they will announce its final variant.
