Turkmenistan reveals weekly data for transactions on commodity exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $22.37 million last week, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.

Entrepreneurs from Türkiye, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Ireland, Azerbaijan and the UAE purchased petroleum bitumen and aviation kerosene produced at the enterprises of the Turkmennebit State Concern in exchange.

Representatives of business circles from Türkiye and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn in the amount of 2.09 million Turkmen manats ($597,300).

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan purchased petroleum bitumen and carpets worth more than 48.7 million Turkmen manats ($13.9 million) in exchange for the domestic market.

A total of 47 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
