BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. The Baherden
garment factory located in the Ahal region in the south of
Turkmenistan has increased production in January 2022, Trend reports with
reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, during the reporting period, the
company manufactured products worth 7.9 million Turkmen manats
($2.2 million). The production growth rate compared to 2021 was 1.8
percent.
The factory sews special clothes, blankets, mattresses, pillows,
pillowcases and other sewing products from high-quality cotton
fabric.
According to the data, the Baherden factory manufactured over
663,000 units of various clothing in 2022.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the
implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by
2025.
Major investments will be directed not only to expanding existing
capacities but also to creating more than 10 new production
facilities based on current enterprises.
