TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 8. Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover volume with France reached $337.1 million from January through March 2024, Trend reports.
The data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this figure is 63 percent higher year-on-year ($206.8 million in January–March 2023).
France ranked sixth among the countries with the largest volume of foreign trade turnover in Uzbekistan.
The volume of exports amounted to $237.3 million, while the imports reached $99.8 million from January through March 2024.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover volume between Uzbekistan and France amounted to $191 million from January through February 2024. This indicator has increased by 25.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year ($151.7 million in January-February 2023).
The volume of exports amounted to $140.6 million, while imports reached $50.5 million during this period.
