The production of spare parts for the Isfahan Oil Refinery, located in Iran’s central Isfahan Province, increased by 300 percent during the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), when compared to the previous year, said Saeid Ehteramian, head of the department for the support of local production at Isfahan Oil Refinery, Trend reports referring to the company's website.

According to Ehteramian, 453 spare parts were produced last year, in 120,000 circulations.

This, Ehteramian added, led to about 260 billion rials (app. $6.19 million) in savings (preventing additional funds from being spent for the import of spare parts).

Noting that the company is currently in contact with more than 500 domestic manufacturers, Ehteramian said that very important steps have been taken for strengthening the relations between the companies.

The locally produced spare parts can even rival foreign produced ones and are deemed to be more reliable.
