BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye decreased by 44.2 percent in value and 46.9 percent in weight in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
However, Iran exported 7.77 million tons of non-oil products worth about $4.16 billion to Türkiye last year.
Meanwhile, Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye in the previous Iranian year totaled 14.6 million tons worth about $7.5 billion.
Statistics indicate that Iran mainly exported agricultural, food, petrochemical, industrial, and mining products to Türkiye.
The information adds that Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye amounted to about 481,000 tons worth about $341 million for the 12th month of the last Iranian year (from February 20 through March 19, 2024).
To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, the country's exports of non-oil products in the last Iranian year amounted to more than 136 million tons worth $49.3 billion. Compared to the previous year, Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 9.82 percent in weight terms.
