Georgia, Tbilisi, 19 June / corr. Trend N.Kitzkhalia / Eka Tkeshelashvili, the Georgian Foreign Minister, will visit Italy on 20 June to participate in the 25th international conference on Global Security, the Ministry said.
On 25 June he will visit Poland to join a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Georgia's new friends group (Poland, Bulgaria, Rumania, and the Czech Republic). The gathering will focus on the ways of conflict solutions and Georgia's integration to NATO.
Tkeshelashvili held the meeting with Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, NATO Secretary General, within the framework of her visit to Brussels. Scheffer appraised this meeting and said that he wax pending for the meeting of the North Atlantic Council due in Tbilisi from 3 to 5 September.
