Georgia, Tbilisi, December 2/ Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia/ Georgian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Tkeshelashvili described NATO's new proposals on admission to the Alliance as far-reaching and positive. According to unofficial reports, in new ministerial to begin on December Georgia will be offered new mechanism for admission to the Organization rather than MAP. Though the proposal was worked out by the United Kingdom, it was announced by the UIS Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The details of the plan are not revealed yet.
"This option of mechanism on NATO accession is promising enough and will bring us closer to the Alliance," Georgian Foreign Minister said.
