The Iraqi parliamentary session expected to start the process of government formation has been postponed for three hours until Thursday evening, the third postponement of the day, the parliament's press office has announced, DPA reported.
The postponement was because of the large number of absent parliamentarians, who were in meetings being held by different political blocs to discuss last minute issues, regional news network al-Arabiya reported.
