Prince William and his wife, Catherine, have gone on honeymoon to an undisclosed destination 10 days after their spectacular London wedding, St James's Palace said Tuesday.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as they are now known, were understood to have left on Monday, managing to escape media attention, DPA reported.
After their wedding on April 29, they had returned to Anglesey, in Wales, where William briefly returned to his job as a search-and- rescue pilot in the Royal Air Force.
The Sun newspaper reported Tuesday that the couple had chosen the Seychelles for their honeymoon destination. But their spokesman would not confirm the report.
"We are not confirming and we are not commenting on speculation on where they have gone on their private honeymoon, we are just confirming that they have gone," he said.
The newly-weds had asked that their privacy be respected during their honeymoon, he added.
