The 7th Azerbaijan-Russia interregional forum is an important platform in the two countries’ relations, Ali Hasanov, Azerbaijani presidential aide for public and political affairs, told reporters Nov. 1 in Baku.
Hasanov said that the forum is being held for the seventh time, adding that previously the event was held both in Azerbaijan and Russia.
Every year, about 500 people from the two sides take part in the forum, he noted adding that the current forum is attended by representatives of various districts, regions, including central authorities and ministries.
A wide range of issues of cooperation in the economic, industrial, agricultural, trade and humanitarian spheres, as well as youth policy, relations between NGOs and media are expected to be discussed during the forum, added Ali Hasanov.
