Kazakhstan boosts petroleum oils exports to Lithuania

Kazakhstan has exported 179,829 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 51.9 million euros to Lithuania in November 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 1.7 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 552.5 million euros to Romania from Jan. through Nov.2020.

Thus, the November volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Lithuania is 1.1 times more than in volume compared to October 2020 (84,496 tons) and is 83.3 percent more than in Jan. 2020 (98,061 tons).

November export value is also 1.2 times more than in October 2020 (23.3 million euros) and is 41.6 percent more than in Jan. 2020 (49.6 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Lithuania amounted to $458.6 million over the first 11 months of 2020, compared to $340.6 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Lithuania amounted to $357.1 million over the period from January through Nov. 2020, compared to $267.4 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Lithuania amounted to nearly $101.4 million over the reporting period, compared to $73.2 million during the same period of 2019.
