BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Exports of declared gas volumes by Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee (SCC) from January through February 2024 amounted to 3.954 bcm, which is 3.3 times higher than from January through February 2023, Trend reports.
According to the SCC, the money from the sale of this gas was
$1.46 billion, 2.9 times more than the revenue from the export of
stated gas volumes from January through February 2023.
In the first two months of 2024, gas supplies made up 30.54 percent
of Azerbaijan's total exports. From January through February 2023,
gas made up 11.11 percent of the country's total exports.
Along with Georgia and Türkiye who have purchased Azerbaijani gas
since 2007, Azerbaijan supplies gas to six European countries
(Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Serbia), under
agreed contracts.
