BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. Azerbaijan exported 16 million tons of oil and condensate from January through August 2024, which is 1 million tons less than the figure for the same period in 2023, the data of the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry reads, Trend reports.
Of this volume, Azerbaijan International Operating Company accounted for 13.9 million tons (against 15 million tons from January through August 2023).
Compared to the first eight months of 2023, SOCAR's exports were 2.0 million tons, while this year they reached 2.1 million tons.
To note, Azerbaijan exported 25.2 million tons of oil together with condensate in 2023.
