ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 23. The Korean company Doosan Enerbility has presented options for solving energy issues in Kazakhstan, including through environmentally friendly technologies, Trend reports.
This was announced during a meeting between First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Executive Vice President of the company Jeong Gwan Kim.
During the meeting, it was noted that the company has extensive experience in the construction of stations and the use of advanced technologies and equipment.
Possible prospects for cooperation were also discussed.
On March 15, Doosan Enerbility announced that it had signed a contract with Turkestan LLP, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan's sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna, to build a combined cycle gas power plant at a cost of 1.15 trillion won, or $877 million.
Earlier in 2015, Doosan Enerbility already received an order for a 310 MW combined cycle gas power plant from Karabatan Utility Solutions LLP, a subsidiary of Samruk-Kazyna, and completed construction of the power plant in 2020.
