Georgia, Tbilisi, Oct.25 /Trend, N.Kirtskhalia /
Following an appeal last week, the Tbilisi City Administrative Court was not satisfied about the legal claim of businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili and his wife Ekaterine Khvedelidze's lawyers to revoke the Georgian President's decision to deprive them of their Georgian citizenship.
As Ivanishvili's lawyer Shalva Tadumadze told journalists, the process server handed him a letter stating that the court did not grant the claim to annul the Georgian President's order No.692 concerning depriving Bidzina Ivanishvili and Ekaterine Khvedelidze's Georgian citizenship.
Mr. Tadumadze said: "A petition was annexed to the claim, which included an appeal to stay the order No.692, as this damages legal interests and rights of Bidzina Ivanishvili and Ekaterine Khvedelidze."
Mr. Tadumadze considers the decision illegal and lawyers are going to the Court of Appeal within 12 days.
