The Israeli Parliament will not submit bill on fictional "Armenian genocide" for discussion, Chairman of the Azerbaijani-Israeli interparliamentary working group Evda Abramov said today.

"Today, I got in touch with the leaders of the Israeli parliament," he said. "They stated that discussion over the issue of fictional "Armenian genocide" in the Knesset was completely withdrawn from the agenda. The Parliament believes the discussion of the bill could harm Turkish-Israeli relations," Abram said.

Armenia claims that the Ottoman Empire committed "genocide" against Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915. Making greater efforts to promote the issue internationally, Armenians have achieved its recognition by parliaments in some countries.
