The Azerbaijani Supreme Court considered a complaint of Classic Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (CPFPA) Chairman Mirmahmud Miralioglu. The court kept the Appeal Court's decision dated Nov.29 in force.
Miralioglu appealed to the Central Election Commission (CEC) in connection with the violations recorded on election day. However, his appeal has disappeared from the claims box of this structure. The CEC reports that it has not received any appeal from Miralioglu. Miralioglu provided to the court a document, which states that the appeal was sent by mail.
On Nov.24, Miralioglu repeatedly appealed to the CEC. He said that he sent his appeal within the specified period, and if his appeal is not received by the CEC in time, this is not his fault.
However, the Commission decided that the appeal was received after the deadline, and returned it.
The Baku Appeal Court dismissed Miralioglu's appeal.
